Before launching his own practice, Matthew led real estate development projects for several of Chicago’s most notable developers, Sterling Bay and Bridge Development Partners, while also teaching real estate courses in the Real Estate Program at DePaul University.  He began his career trained directly by the Founder of a large national development firm on the fundamentals of leasing, construction project management and development analysis.  He earned an MBA from University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management and a BA from Saint John’s University.

Matthew is an analytical and creative advisor bringing 18 years of commercial real estate development know-how to each assignment.  He believes accretive value is realized by uncovering inherent potential upside in each asset, while comparing this vision with the costs associated in executing the asset plan required. With a focus on scope, schedule and budget, he formulates and executes asset plans by integrating technical disciplines and effectively managing each phase of the development process.
